Canvas printing consists of digital images printed on the same canvas material artists use to create their masterpieces. It possesses and recreates the same colours and retains the texture you want your prints to project on the material. Such that, it can give your prints that painting-like quality where you can easily make photographs look like a work of art Printing photos on canvas is not only a hassle-free approach, it also costs a lot less than doing it conventionally. Here Is how you can transform your family portraits into unique artworks through canvas printing: * Enhance the picture digitally using Adobe Photoshop and add brush stroke effects to your print. With a little computer know-how, there are a lot of ways in which you can turn your regular snapshot or studio shot into wonderful works of art. * Canvases are perfect for display in living rooms while individual prints can be displayed in bedrooms. Certain pieces can also be a timely display piece for grand reunions or other family celebrations. * These canvas pictures are also great gift ideas to friends and relatives. Have it framed or mounted so the recipient can simply hang it in their house. Upgrade your vacation souvenirs with canvas printing * Do you have a postcard like picture from your last vacation? Have it printed on canvas and wake up to the same view everyday. Share it with your loved ones or have it all to yourself. * Unlike glossy posters and other prints, the canvas is really intended as a decorative material giving your print a sophisticated feel. Its surface is of a non-glare material so you can have truly vibrant colours that come across. * The canvas print can be printed with any size from 8x8 inches to as big as 58x100 inches. This way, you can have your panoramic pictures printed to dimension and in as big a scale as you please. Have it printed in small constrained sizes, or go extreme with large mural sizes.

If you are looking into possibly making a second income with your home decorating skills, candle making is a great place to start. Most homes contain candles for a variety of reasons. Some home use candles for to enhance their decoration, but lately many people are realizing that personalized candles are great gift giving ideas. You may think initially that candle making is too difficult for you, but armed with the right information I think you will find it to be a lot easier than you think. Before you begin making your first candle, you are going to want to make sure you have all your ingredients collected, laid out in an orderly fashion. Typical supplies you will need include waxes, wicks, molds, scents and dyes. Wax melts easier when it is comprised of smaller pieces, so you can begin by cutting your wax into tiny pieces. Your next step would be to make sure that the molds you are using are cleaned both on the outside and inside. Next, melt your wax. You will be utilizing what is referred to as a double boiler. This is simply a smaller pot that sits inside a larger one. Make sure your pot is about half full of water, then pour in the wax and let it melt. Make sure you have a thermometer on hand and your melted wax reaches about 160 degrees Fahreheit. At this point your wax should be at the right temperature and you may want to experiement with scents and colors. Drop just a couple of drips of color in and stir the wax and observe how the color changes. This would be the time to try scent if you so choose. Like the color, just use a couple of drops at first as it is easy to create an overwhemling smell if you use too much. Your wick should be inserted now. Cut it to the length you wish and dip it into the melted wax over and over until you are happy with its length. Candle making does require quite a bit of patience, trial and error and it can get very messy at times. This is typical and should not alarm you. Like any skill, the more you practice, the better you will become. In no time you will find yourself creating beautiful and unique candles which will be very rewarding to you. If you want to replace your bathroom faucets with the same type of faucet, then choosing a new one is fairly easy. If you want to change the type of faucet, then you need to research and shop carefully before making a purchase. Types of Bathroom Faucets Bathroom fixtures and faucets come in five primary styles: * Centerset * Widespread * Dual Spout * Wall Mount * Single Lever A centerset faucet has a single spout and one or two handles set on one unit. Theyre designed for use with a 4 pre-drilled three hole basin. A widespread faucet appears to be three separate pieces - two handles and a single spout. The set can be anywhere from 6 to 16 wide total. The basin must also be pre-drilled with the appropriate holes. A dual spout sink has two water spouts, each with its own lever or handle. One spout runs hot and one runs cold. These faucets are unusual in newer homes, but replacement faucets for older homes are still available. A wall mount faucet is most often seen with showers, bath tubs, and vessel sinks. It can be centerset, widespread, dual spout, or single lever. Whichever type you choose, the wall must have the necessary holes pre-drilled to suit the plumbing. If you want to change the style of your wall mount shower faucet or tub faucet, contact a plumber. A single lever faucet has one spout with a single hot and cold lever mounted on top. Its designed for use with a sink with a single pre-drilled hole. How to Change Faucet Types If you have one kind of faucet and want to change to another kind, it may be possible. Depending on how your bathroom is plumbed, it may also be very expensive. Before you replace a faucet, check the holes beneath it to see how it is pre-drilled. With newer homes, it should be easy to find the same size faucet. For older homes, take the measurements with you for because the faucet may be a non-standard size. Depending on how the hot and cold supply lines are connected, switching from a single spout to a dual spout or vice versa may be more challenging. In most homes, the lines are connected to the spout with flexible tubing. If this is the case in your home, then you can buy new tubing cut to the right length and run it to your new spout or spouts. If your plumber used copper tubing that is soldered in place, please contact him to have the tubing removed and new tubes installed in the correct positions. When shopping for new faucets, you should look for a style that matches the decor of your bathroom.
